У многих народов мира техника национальных боевых искусств впоследствии легла в основу единоборств, ставшими популярными в разных странах. Этнический аспект в классификации бойцовских качеств того или иного участника сражения «на кулаках» нередко имеет решающее значение.

Сходиться с украинцами в рукопашной страшились

То, что с украинским солдатом в рукопашной лучше не встречаться, на самой крупной войне ХХ века – Второй Мировой очень быстро поняли гитлеровцы. По воспоминаниям ветерана войны Я. В. Ковшаря, наших хорошо готовили к ближнему бою – учили бить штыком, прикладом, саперной лопаткой, показывали боксерские приемы.

Многие призывники из числа сельских жителей и сами имели определенный опыт участия в «мирных» рукопашных схватках – кулачных боях.

В книге «Современный бокс» чемпион мира по тайкикбоксингу Аман Атилов пишет, что на Руси одни из первых упоминаний о кулачных боях появились в летописях Нестора (1069 год). В старину у предков было два вида боев – «стенка на стенку» и «один на один».

Сражения систематически происходили практически в каждом крупном городе или селе, и были организованными – специальные люди следили за соблюдением правил (чтобы бойцы не подкладывали в рукавицы посторонние предметы для утяжеления кулака).

Наиболее сильные и ловкие становились «забойщиками» – их в процессе боя направляли на слабеющие участки «фронта». Ниже пояса и с заходом сзади не били, упавших не трогали, пьяных к кулачному бою не допускали.

Кулачные бои любил Петр I, нередко участвовал в них сам. Екатерина II также всячески поощряла этот вид единоборств. В книге историка М. Н. Лукашова «Слава былых чемпионов» описывается случай, как гренадер из свиты Петра I одолел в бою одного их сильнейших боксеров Англии.

Монгол-Зо: Боевое искусство монгольских воинов

Многовековая и территориально обширнейшая история завоеваний Монгольского Ханства говорит о том, что монголы были великими воинами, которых с измальства учили приемам ближнего боя.

Как пишет монгольский историк Ч. Жугдэр, Чингисхан впервые систематизировал особую программу по подготовке своих воинов рукопашному бою в начале XIII века.

Боевое искусство было триединым – монголу следовало научиться владеть всеми видами оружия, в совершенстве освоить верховую езду и уметь драться в рукопашную голыми руками.

Кочевники владели знаниями анатомии, кое-что понимали в физике, геометрии и баллистике, и все это применяли в ближнем бою. Боевое искусство Монгол-Зо постоянно совершенствовалось и усложнялось.

По мнению мастера карате М. Оямы, написавшего книгу «Силовое карате», в определенной степени все восточные боевые единоборства так или иначе связаны с Монгол-Зо.

Почему дагестанцы сильны в ММА

Современные дагестанские бойцы смешанных боевых искусств (ММА) считаются одними из сильнейших в мире.

Дагестанский историк М. А. Дибиров пишет, что причиной тому не только хорошая школа подготовки, но и во многом генетическая предрасположенность спортсменов – практически у каждого древнего народа Дагестана (а их там проживает свыше десятка) в свое время было свое боевое искусство, и элементы рукопашного боя в нем нередко являлись неотъемлемой частью.

Таким рукопашным боем был хъат кьаби (его практиковал народ багулалов) – противника разрешалось бить рукой с разжатой кистью, наносить удары ногами; борьба ругулов и мелигдун (чохское боевое искусство, где использовались жерди)…

Древние дагестанцы использовали специальный рацион питания для подготовки к состязаниям, много тренировались, порой в бойцовских схватках у них принимали участи даже женщины.

Ушу: «останови оружие»

Легендарное китайское боевое искусство ушу (в переводе означает «останови оружие») зародилось в монастыре Шаолинь. О его последующем широком распространении пишет в своей книге «Восточные единоборства» публицист И. Оранский.

Согласно исследованиям этого автора, систематизировал это единоборство учитель Бодхидхарма в VI веке. Впоследствии ушу разнообразилось различными стилями, основанными на подражании животным. В боевом искусстве использовались самые разные предметы из монашеского обихода – миски, плащи, посохи…

В IX веке ушу стало распространяться монахами по всему Китаю, а затем последователи данного единоборства появились во всем мире. Считается, что карате-до, возникшее на острове Окинава, создано на основе именно китайского болевого искусства.

Имидж непобедимости китайских мастеров ушу в современном кино создали Брюс Ли и Джеки Чан.

Как тайцы уважать себя заставили

Несмотря на то, что муай тай (тайский бокс) стал популярен в Таиланде в XVI веке, широкую известность данное боевое искусство за пределами этой страны получило только в середине прошлого века, когда бойцы муай тай начали побеждать в схватках мастеров других единоборств (кикбоксеров и каратистов).

Авторы учебного пособия по тайскому боксу С. И. Заяшников и О. А. Терехов считают, что прародителем муай тай стала разновидность рукопашного боя пахуют – когда бойцы без оружия сражались руками, ногами, коленями и локтями. Боксерские поединки с иностранцами впервые начали проводиться с конца XVIII века и в одном из первых сражений тайцы побили французских боксеров.

Современный тайский бокс очень популярен как в Таиланде, так и в других странах. Тайские военные и полицейские обязаны изучать муай тай, а число профессиональных боксеров и любителей, занимающихся данным единоборством, превышает 130 тысяч человек.
